The Frederick Foundation is named for Dr Prince Frederick Esiri, an Oxford medical graduate from Nigeria, who dedicated his efforts to running a health clinic in Taraba State, Nigeria. The charity has been formed in his memory by his widow, Emeritus Professor Margaret Esiri and her much valued fellow Trustees of the charity (see over), with additional support from her sons.
