SMARTA at WHX Lagos 2025

The World Health Expo (WHX Lagos) 2025, held at the Landmark Centre in Lagos, Nigeria, from June 2nd to 4th, 2025 was an incredible experience for the SMART Africa Network (SMARTA).

This event brought together leaders, innovators, and professionals from across West Africa’s largest healthcare and medical imaging space. The event featured thought-provoking discussions, forward-thinking ideas, and invaluable networking opportunities.

SMART Africa Network, contributed to key conversations on imaging, diagnostics, and capacity building in Africa.

It was also an opportunity to connect with several outstanding organizations, including The JNCI International Ltd Team, led by the founder and managing Director Mrs Clare Omatseye who are making impactful contributions to healthcare advancement across the continent.

Their team fully supports the 4th SMART Africa MRI Workshop, scheduled for July 23–25, 2025 at LASUTH. This workshop is central to our mission, empowering underrepresented MRI scientists and clinicians in Sub-Saharan Africa through mentorship, hands-on training, collaboration, and knowledge exchange.
