The Masterclass is the heartbeat of the 4th CZI SMART Africa Workshop.

The Masterclass is not just another lecture series; it is where deep learning meets real practice. The Masterclass offers two days of interactive experience for radiographers, radiologists, medical physicists, and biomedical engineers working across Africa.

Participants will engage with leading experts, take part in practical demonstrations, and receive mentorship tips designed to support long-term growth. It’s a rare opportunity to build skills and make lasting professional connections.

Across Africa, many young imaging professionals face barriers to training, access, and career development. The SMART Africa initiative, supported by the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, is working to help bridge that gap by investing in the people who will lead the future of MRI on the continent.
